Welcome to the Catholic Student Association!
The Catholic Student Association was founded at the University of South Alabama in 1964. We have had a long tradition of providing faith and fraternity to the Catholic student population at USA. In 2003, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Student Center opened, and Fr. Alejandro Valladares was appointed as full-time Campus Minister. Today, the Catholic Student Center is a place for worship, prayer, and collegiate fraternity. Located across the University Campus at 6051 Old Shell Road, we are within walking distance of everything the University offers.
All Catholic students are invited to sign-up and become members of the CSA and participate in our faith-based community. With praise, worship, and prayer as basis of all we do, we have daily activities and special events which include canoeing, retreats, pilgrimages, and a hiking trip to the mountains. Please view our website and we hope to see you soon!
